How to use the color vision simulator

The color vision simulator processes input only in the current browser; nothing is uploaded, accessed online, or saved.

  1. Input content

    Select a local image and choose a color vision simulation type.

  2. Select a processing method

    Generate a comparison of the original and simulated images; change the simulation type when necessary.

  3. Check and export

    View the side-by-side comparison and download the simulated image.

Limitations and Notes

  • This is a visual simulation, not a medical diagnosis, and does not cover all individual differences.
  • The display, brightness, color settings, and ambient light will affect the actual appearance.
  • The tool only provides locally processed results; important configurations, secrets, documents, and published content must still be reviewed in the target environment.

FAQ

Will the input be uploaded to a server?

No. The page only uses browser memory, the local file API, and local resources already provided with the site.

Can the simulation results be used for medical diagnosis?

No. It is intended only as an aid for design and readability, not for diagnosing or assessing an individual’s visual abilities.

Why do the results still require manual review?

Edge-case syntax, regional standards, third-party readers, and target runtime environments may differ; the tool does not replace final validation.
