User Guide

How to use an image contact sheet

The image contact sheet processes input only in the current browser; it does not upload, access the internet, or save user data.

  1. Input content

Select up to 100 local PNG, JPEG, or WebP images.

  2. Select a processing method

Set the number of columns, thumbnail size, background, and filename display.

  3. Check and export

Download the PNG contact sheet after confirming that the grid has complete coverage.

Limitations and Notes

  • The total input size, total pixel count, and output pixel count are all limited; processing will be rejected if any limit is exceeded.
  • A contact sheet is a thumbnail compilation; it does not retain the original image resolution or complete metadata.
  • The tool only provides locally processed results; important configurations, secrets, documents, and published content must still be reviewed in the target environment.

FAQ

Will the input be uploaded to a server?

No. The page only uses browser memory, the local file API, and local resources already provided with the site.

Will the original image be modified?

No. The tool only reads images and generates a new contact sheet file.

Why do the results still require manual review?

Edge-case syntax, regional standards, third-party readers, and target runtime environments may differ; the tool does not replace final validation.
