How to use the OpenAPI toolbox

OpenAPI, Swagger, and cURL content are parsed only in the current browser; no remote $ref requests, interface calls, or document uploads are made.

  1. Import document

Paste OpenAPI, 2/3, JSON, YAML, or cURL text, then select the conversion mode you need.

  2. Run conversion

After clicking Run, view the client, Postman, JMeter, or normalized JSON output; local parsing stops when it encounters a dangerous key.

  3. Review results

Check the server address, authentication placeholders, parameters, and schema, then copy the result into your project.

Limitations and Notes

  • Remote $ref values are not resolved online; documents containing external references must be downloaded and inlined first.
  • The generated client, collection, or test plan is a static draft and will not initiate network requests on your behalf.
  • Oversized, excessively deep, circularly referenced, or incomplete specifications will be rejected for conversion; complex authentication still requires manual completion.

FAQ

Will it call my API?

No, the page only parses the document and generates text.

Why wasn’t the external $ref expanded?

To remain fully static and privacy-safe, remote references are not requested automatically.

Can the generated code be deployed directly to production?

Cannot guarantee it; please first review authentication, error handling, timeouts, and service endpoints.
