PDF Text Watermark
Add repeated text watermarks to specified pages of a local PDF, with support for opacity, rotation, and positioning.
How to use the PDF text watermark
PDF Text watermark processing occurs only in the current browser; input is not uploaded, transmitted over the network, or stored.
Input content
Select PDF, enter the watermark text, and set the opacity, angle, position, and page range.
Select a processing method
Generate a text overlay and reopen it; render a representative page to verify the output.
Check and export
Confirm the watermark effect before downloading the new PDF.
Limitations and Notes
- v1 supports text watermarks only, not image watermarks, and is not a blacking-out or de-identification tool.
- Watermarks do not remove the original text and cannot be used to protect confidential content or replace true redaction.
- The tool only provides locally processed results; important configurations, secrets, documents, and published content must still be reviewed in the target environment.
FAQ
Will the input be uploaded to a server?
No. The page only uses browser memory, the local file API, and local resources already provided with the site.
Does a text watermark amount to PDF de-identification?
No. A watermark only overlays visible text; the original content may still be copied or extracted.
Why do the results still require manual review?
Edge-case syntax, regional standards, third-party readers, and target runtime environments may differ; the tool does not replace final validation.
