How to Use the Random Wheel

Options and draw results are handled only on the current page and will not be uploaded or auto-saved.

  1. Fill in Options

Enter one candidate per line, at least 2 items and at most 100 items.

  2. Spin the Wheel

After clicking Start, the program first uses the browser’s random source to determine the result, then plays the pointer animation.

  3. Continue drawing

You can copy the result, or remove the current hit and continue drawing.

Limitations and Notes

  • Animation is for display only and does not affect the result calculation; when reduced motion is enabled, animations will be shortened or skipped.
  • Options with the same name are entered separately based on the row they’re in, so duplicate rows increase the chance of that text being drawn.
  • This page does not provide weights, seeds, replays, or third-party verifiable proof of fairness.

FAQ

Where does the animation stop to count as the result?

When you click Start, the result is already determined; the final pointer position is only for display.

Can different weights be set?

Each row currently has equal weight; if you need a higher probability, you can repeat entries, but participants should be informed.

Can it be operated with a keyboard?

Yes. After focusing the button with Tab, press Enter or Space to start and copy.
