How to Use the Special Symbols Collection
Searching, filtering, and copying are all performed locally in the current browser; the page does not upload your queries or selected characters.

You can search by the character itself, U+XXXX or a multi-code-point sequence, as well as by Unicode official English names and CLDR Chinese and English names and keywords.
Narrow the scope by category and block
Use categories, General_Category and Unicode Block filters to narrow down 13,189 characters; results are displayed in batches of 120.

Limitations and Notes
- The fixed scope is Unicode 17.0 S*, P*, M*, Z*, Nl, and No General_Category; it excludes letters, decimal digits, control characters, private-use areas, and unassigned code points.
- Some new characters or rare glyphs require the operating system to install fonts supporting Unicode 17.0; an empty box does not mean that the character does not exist.
- Characters without Chinese annotations in CLDR retain Unicode official English names and can still be searched by Chinese category, block alias, or English name.
FAQ
Why do some characters appear blank or as dotted circles?
The separator itself is invisible, and combining marks need a base character; the page adds a visible preview, while the copied content remains the original Unicode value.
How do I search by code point?
Enter U+00A9, 00A9, or a multi-code-point U+2764 U+FE0F; the search normalizes letter case and separator whitespace.
Does the page data update automatically over the internet?
No. The data is published as static resources with this site; version upgrades explicitly refresh the data and revalidate the counts through maintenance scripts.
