How to use the input practice toolbox

The typing practice toolbox processes keystrokes and practice text only in the current browser’s memory; it does not upload them or write them to persistent storage.

  1. Select mode

Choose Wubi, speed, symbols, finger placement, or keyboard practice.

  2. Start practicing

Enter the text as prompted on the page; the tool instantly displays the accuracy, speed, and error locations.

  3. Review results

Review mistakes and completion status; refresh to start a new local practice session.

Limitations and Notes

  • Practice scores are tracked only in the memory of the current page and are not retained after the page is refreshed or closed.
  • WPM is affected by article length, input method, keyboard layout, and browser events, so it is suitable only as a practice metric.
  • The Wubi root and character decomposition data are built-in references; professional learning should still follow official textbooks and personal habits.
