How to use random team matching

The list is processed only in the current browser page and will not be uploaded or automatically saved.

  1. Enter list

Enter one member per line; blank lines will be ignored, and members with the same name will be grouped as separate entries.

  2. Set number of groups

Select 2–20 groups, and the number of groups cannot exceed the number of valid members.

  3. Generate and verify

After clicking random team assignment, view the number of people in each group, and copy all results. Regenerate when you need to draw again.

Limitations and Notes

  • Uses the browser’s cryptographically secure random source and unbiased shuffling, but the results do not constitute an auditable or reproducible official drawing record.
  • Using round-robin assignment, the difference in size between any two groups is at most 1; it does not balance by gender, ability, or other conditions.
  • Can process up to 500 members; any results not copied will be lost after closing or refreshing the page.

FAQ

Will members with the same name be merged?

No. Each row with the same name participates as a separate member in the random grouping.

Why are the results different each time?

Each click re-reads a random value from the browser’s entropy source and performs a shuffle.

Can it be used for official event draws?

This page has no audit log, witness flow, or verifiable random proof. For formal use cases, use a drawing system that complies with organizational rules.
